Here you can see the eco-responsible processes involved in manufacturing our reusable, recyclable cups. Initially, polypropylene is transformed into reusable, recyclable cups. Next we personalise the cups according to our customers’ requirements, screen-printing the agreed design. The cups are made available to event or festival goers for use in exchange for a small deposit. The aim is to ensure the cups are either reused or recycled. The cups can be either washed and reused, or recovered so they can be transformed into other new useful recycled objects (products not suitable for food contact).
Proproylene is the most suitable material for manufacturing our plastic products as it has higher stiffness. It is suitable for food use and can withstand temperatures up to 160 ºC, meaning that the cups can be washed in the dishwasher.
It is also the best material for reuse or recycling, as it does not contain any chlorine.
Our products adhere to European Community laws regarding materials intended for food contact (EC Regulation 1935/2004 of 27 October 2004).
Our products can be screen-printed according to our customers’ requirements. We use polypropylene-specific ink for marking. We also comply with the EN 71 standard, section 3 on toy safety, as well as regulation regarding materials intended for food contact.
Printing can be done in black, white or any other Pantone-coloured ink desired by the customer.
Products can also be printed in several colours, making the design more attractive.
